The following is a summary of changes to the final draft of the Land Use Bylaw upon review of the feedback from the Open Houses and questionnaire responses received from the public.

Entire Bylaw Amended bylaw to address general grammatical and typographical errors to provide consistency with numbering, tense and references.  This includes correcting general formatting issues throughout.   
Administrative SectionAdded new definition to Section 67:  RESTRICTIVE COVENANT means a restriction on the use of the land set forth in a formal binding agreement which is registered as an encumbrance on the land title for a property.  The restrictive covenant runs with the land and is binding upon subsequent owners of the property.   
Schedule 1: Land Use Districts       Section 5:  Land Use District MapsAmended lands within the Hamlet of Granum to designate the lands: (Schedule 1, Division 3, Hamlet of Granum Map A) Plan 001 0036, Block 2, Lots 1 to 14 from Large Lot R3 to Direct Control – DC Plan 981 1709, Block 1, Lots 1 to 11, 13 from CR1 to Direct Control – DC Amended the boundary of the Hamlet of Moon River Estates to the east side of Range Road 241 including Lot R5, Block 3, Plan 781 0697 and the access road as shown on Plan 901 1771 (Schedule 1, Division 3, Hamlet of Moon River Estates Map A) Designate Lot R5, Block 3, Plan 781 0697 from Rural General – RG to Open Space, Parks and Recreation – OPR)   Section 6: Land Use Summary Table             Add Student Housing as a discretionary use to the Claresholm Airport District             Add Office as a discretionary use to the Industrial Renewable Energy Direct Control District  
Schedule 2: Rural General DistrictDelete Section 11.11 – Resubdivision of Existing Small Titles         
Schedule 2: Hamlet Residential DistrictAmended district to remove references to lands legally known as Plan 001 0036, Block 2, Lots 1 to 14 from Large Lot R3 to Direct Control – DC Plan 981 1709, Block 1, Lots 1 to 11, 13 from CR1 to Direct Control – DC.  Those specific development standards will be moved to the Site-Specific Direct Control Sections 17 and 18.  
Schedule 2: Claresholm Airport DistrictAdded Student housing as a discretionary use.

Schedule 2: Industrial Renewable Energy Direct Control DistrictAdded Office / Maintenance building as a discretionary use.Amended Section 6.1(a) to add the verbiage underlined: “(a) the location selection shall be developed in such a manner that the grounds on an around the BESS facilities shall be of a fire retardant, non-combustible material such as rock, concrete or other similar material for at least 30.5 m (100 ft.), measured from the external wall of the BESS unit, and no flammable structures are contained within that surface;”  
Schedule 7: DefinitionsAdded a definition for Student housing: STUDENT HOUSING means a building intended or used principally for sleeping accommodations where such a building is related to an educational facility or school.
